Full description

The RSRC (www.rsrsc.org.au) is the largest and longest running applied remote sensing research centre in Australia; its work is concerned with collecting and processing satellite, airborne and field survey data to produce information that is used for environmental science, monitoring and management. The centre has extensive ongoing national (www.jrsp.org.au. www.auscover.org.au) applied research and infrastructure projects with all levels of government and private industry, funded through competitive grants and industry partnerships. Our activities are data and processing intensive and we need to continually access, move and process large data sets.
