Full description
Four experiments examined accuracy for a 72 ms target word (C2) that was preceded by an identical or unrelated word (C1), with an intervening distractor word between C1 and C2. Participants identified (only) C2 in a 3-item choice test. The duration of C1 and the distractor varied factorially (72 vs. 120 ms) over experiments, and the effect on repetition blindness was examined.Issued: 2021
