Full description From August 31st to September 6th 2009, the Big Jam live music festival was hosted in Brisbane. The event created the history of Brisbanes music in 150 hours, starting off with music from the 1950's.Beginning early on Monday August 31, musicians tag-teamed for just over six days at the QUT recording studio in Newstead. A finale was held as part of the QUT/Brisbane City Council organised Come Celebrate concert at the Botanic Gardens River Stage.The concert is part of Brisbane's celebration of 150 years since the city declared itself a municipality.**Grantor:**External Ref:
