Brief description
Professor Kim Watty (PhD) holds a Chair in Accounting at Deakin University. She has been an Associate Professor and Director of the Teaching and Learning Unit at The University of Melbourne and prior to that, the Academic Program Leader and Director of Teaching Quality in the School of Accounting and Law at RMIT University. Her research areas focus on the scholarship of teaching and learning as it relates to the discipline specific area of accounting. This involves research in assessment, generic skills, program renewal, international education standards, quality and quality assurance. She has successfully led nationally and internationally competitive research projects funded by the ALTC, AVCC and IAAER/ACCA. Subjects
