Dr Chris Drovandi is a Professor in Statistics and Data Science at QUT, Australia. He is a Program Director if the . He is an Associate Investigator of the , and an Associate Editor of Statisitcs and Computing. From 2016-2019 he was the Chair of the Bayesian Statistics Section of the .
In 2020, DrDrovandi was the recipient of an Australian Research Council Discovery Project grant on novel sequential Monte Carlo methods. From 2016-2019, he was an (DECRA) Fellow. His DECRA Fellowship was highly productive, generating 30 publications predominantly on new methods for likelihood-free Bayesian inference.
