Full description
The Counties of New South Wales were loosely defined on several occasions between 1788 and 1835, including the "19 Counties" (beyond which Settlement was officially prohibited). The seventeen counties proclaimed in the Letters Patent dated 26 November 1835 were final proclamations of the Counties and descriptions of their boundaries. This document is the original signed parchment.The Proclamation was published in the New South Wales Government Gazette.
