This dataset comprises processed household-level data derived from the Household Socioeconomic Surveys (HSES) conducted by the National Statistics Office of Mongolia, accessed via www.1212.mn. The dataset includes information on household consumption, food and beverage purchases, demographic characteristics, and geographic identifiers. Data have been cleaned, formatted, and merged across multiple survey years (2021–2023) to support the estimation of price elasticities for sugar-sweetened beverages and related policy analyses. The working files are saved in Stata (.dta) format, and variable labels and codebooks are included.
