Full description
This dataset was collected by Georgina Sauzier at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis in 2015 as part of a PhD exchange placement, as described in the linked article. Simulated smokeless gunpowder residues were analysed using total vaporisation (TV)-SPME/GC-MS as part of a central composite design. Optimised parameters for recovery of the target components were then tested using real residues generated from a pipe bomb detonation. Peak areas were integrated using Thermo Xcalibur v2.0.7. The central composite design was created and analysed using Design Expert v10. Subjects
