One-Person Libraries (OPLs) in Australia

Brief description

The dataset contains responses to a call for information on OPLs in the Australian special library environment. The call for information was advertised through email. Respondents emailed or faxed their responses. There were also responses from relevant e-lists providing the required information. Ten published editions of the Directory of Special Libraries in Australia were analysed (up to 1999). The analysis was carried out for each state and territory as the organisation of the library listings in each of the directories is by state/territory and then alphabetical by the title/name of the library. The dataset includes handwritten statistical analysis and conference papers. The data is in print form.
