Full description
This dataset contains four observation sessions. Four groups of South Australian Czechs are speaking together in Czech about basic topics including travel, food, Christmas and life in the Czech Republic vs life in Australia.The data is therefore in Czech. It was used for analysis in the area of language contact and the influence of grammatical borrowing and replication.
In Observation Session 4, there was one Slovak participant present. Her data was not used for analysis in the study.
