Brief description

The Victorian Auditor-General's Office is a public sector audit organisation
providing auditing services to the Victorian Parliament and Victorian public
sector agencies and authorities.

The office assists the Auditor-General, who is an independent officer of
Parliament, appointed under legislation to examine and report to Parliament
and the community on the efficient and effective management of public sector
resources, and provide assurance on the financial integrity and performance of
Victoria's system of government.

Regularly as audit reports are tabled in the Victorian Parliament.
