Katie Bicevskis scanned the book at the University of Melbourne Digitisation Centre. Christina Sabbagh reworked the OCRed text to convert the 2 column structure of the original. Nick Thieberger added the KJV English translation to create a parallel text, and found missing verses in the translation as a result. In this item you will find the original page images as a pdf, the monolingual text version and the combined parallel text version. There are still errors, especially where the page creased into the spine.. The New Testament, translated into an Efatese language, published in 1889. The scan was made possible by the assistance of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria who lent a copy to allow it to be digitised.
