Between 1912 and 1915 the Board installed 21-27 miles of "Richard Taylor" concrete pipes. These pipes proved unsatisfactory and, from 1935 to 1971, a program of replacement was carried out.

File No.56/992 comprises memoranda and sketches relating to this replacement.
