There is a note at the end of volume NRS 9272 [7/7867] that "this book has been disgracefully entered up - C.Ls not in any proper order numerical or chronological". The numbers and dates given for this volume, therefore, are for those conditional leases which appeared to be the earliest and latest upon examination. In addition, many of the entries in NRS [7/7867] are the same as in volume NRS [7/7866] although the information given is not completely identical.
