These volumes record sale of Crown lands at Ballina, Broadwater Beach, Byron Bay, Coraki, Evans Heads, Wardell, Woodburn and Lismore in the land district of Lismore. However, the final three pages in volume 10/1597, dated 8 October 1866-22 January 1879, consist of sales of Crown lands at Casino (now Lismore) and include an extract from the auction sales register at Casino. In addition, most of the entries in volume 10/1598 duplicate entries in volume 10/1597 although the information given varies.
