This is a record on cards of correspondence received in connection with various kinds of leases, including Special Lease, Crown Lease, Residential Lease, Improvement Lease, Scrub Lease, Settlement Lease, Section Lease, etc. Each card shows: name of lessee, place of residence, type of lease, number of lease, Land District; and a record of correspondence (registered number and date of correspondence, from whom, subject, decision).Included in the series are cards recording correspondence connected with distribution of wire netting. The cards show similar details to the Lease cards, but give, in addition, an application number, due date (?), and Pastures Protection District.
The cards are arranged in one series, alphabetically by surname of lessee.
