List of fires attended by various stations giving information under the following headings: date; time of call; by whom called; locality; occupier; business; construction; supposed cause; extinguished by; damage; and, attendance.
Volumes are held for H.Q , Circular Quay, Alexandria, Kogarah, Leichhardt, Rockdale, Crows Nest, Auburn, Matraville, Beecroft, Lane Cove, Bankstown, Narrabeen, Dee Why, Bondi and other stations.

Note This series consists of many archival series. These are gradually being separated from this series to become the Fire Record Books of a particular Fire Station. There will be no additions to Series NRS 530. Fire Record Books received since 1999 have been serialised according to the Fire Station that created and maintained the series e.g. NRS 15429 Fire Record Books [Botany Fire Station] 1905 - 1993. A range of Collection Search searches are available to assist you to determine whether State Archives holds records from a particular Fire Station. State Archives staff will be pleased to assist if you have difficulty identifying, using or citing Fire Record Books.
