This series consists of a set of volumes each of which contains papers relating to the examination for the rank of Station Officer on a certain date. The volumes typically contain written advice from firemen indicating their intention to take the examination, a copy of the advice that the examination is to be held from 'In Orders', examination papers. A memorandum from the Chairman of Examiners showing the results of the examination and the successful candidates.
