This series consists of a set of papers which were subsequently placed into spring-back binders each of which contains papers relevant to the examination for the rank of Senior Fireman on a certain date. The binders typically contain: written advice from firemen indicating their intention to take the examination; a copy of the advice that the examination is to be held from 'In Orders'; copies of the examination papers themselves; and a memorandum from the Chairman of Examiners showing the results of the examination and the successful candidates.
