This inquiry was held under the terms of section 11 of the Public Hospitals Act of 1929-43. The records consist of one bound typewritten transcript of evidence, a copy of the report on the inquiry; an exhibit book; a book entitled "Parramatta Inquiry"; and an envelope of exhibits retained and shorthand notes taken at the hearing on 3 January 1956, which were impounded at the direction of the Commission.
