Full description

This series contains the admission and discharge registers from Waterfall Sanatorium, later known as Garrawarra Hospital.

The volumes are arranged chronologically by date of admission. Details given include name, age, birthplace, occupation, family history (regarding health of immediate family) and history of disease. The contents of the volume change over time and less detail is provided. Volumes have admissions on the left side and discharges on the right side. Only brief details relating to discharges are given. These may include transfers to other hospitals, discharged improved (I), discharged at own request (DAOR), absconded (A), died or discharged 'against advice'.

Remarks include abbreviations M.P. for Male Patient, F.P. for Female Patient, M.W. for Male Worker and F.W. for Female Worker (all were patients).
