These volumes are registers of bodies used for anatomical dissection by the Medical Schools of Sydney University and the University of New South Wales. The following information is recorded: date of death, name of deceased, age, cause and place of death, date body was received at University, date returned for burial and date of burial.

A copy of the procedure to be followed is pasted into the front of the first volume.
