Full description

These files consist of monthly reports of work carried out; minutes of branch head meetings; correspondence regarding policy on regional centres; publishing advice issued to Government departments; major staff matters; opposition to the establishment of a Communications Branch in the Premier's Department; and the opening of the new Government Information Centre.

Included with these files are three which were registered by the Service's "parent" departments: the Department of Services (file A77/201) and the Department of Industrial Development and Decentralisation (files 82/819 and 83/630).
