Receipt butts of gold received by the Gold Commissioner from various miners showing such details as name, date of receipt, amount of gold in bags, weight and to whom the revenue is to be given and the date of departure of the gold escort to the Mint at Sydney. There is also a record of the total amount of gold despatched to the Treasury with each escort.
