These files contain correspondence and other papers relating to the translation of various documents by translators who are employed by the Commission on a contract basis. Included are details of payments to translators for the service and usually a copy of the document translated.

These files represent only a sample of those created, and have been retained to illustrate the functions of the Community Interpreter and Information Service.
