The volume includes returns from the settlements at Fort Wellington, Raffles Bay, 14 September 1828-August 1829 and at King George's Sound, 3 December 1829-22 February 1831. It is probably a record of returns sent by Captain Collett Barker of the 39th Regiment, who was Commandant at Fort Wellington from 14 September 1828-August 1829 and of King George's Sound from 3 December 1829.
