At the national level the Australian Council of Junior Farmers existed.  The council's objective was to provide an nation wide organisation for discussion on matters of common interest along with providing advice and/or cooperation with other organisations to further the interests of Junior Farmers in Australia.  Examples of the activities undertaken include undertaking a trip to USA in 1956 and other overseas destinations, creating leadership camp opportunities.
