The correspondence deals with administrative and policy matters which concerned the Directors-General of Education, Mr Price and Mr Buggie. The subjects covered by the correspondence include: the special inspection of schools; the outlines of curriculums for school courses; comparative tables concerning the distribution of students' IQ's throughout certain districts; surveys of secondary education; the appointment of school principals and inspectors; criteria for entrance to Teachers' Training Colleges and the awarding of University scholarships for four year teacher trainees.
