These are duplicate copies of a volume comprising printed reports and statistics which appear to have been brought together for the use of members of the Board sometime after 1863. These copies are marked as being those of Peter Faucett and John Dunsmure, two members of the Board.

Each volume contains introductory information relating to the constitution of the Board, including a list of chairmen and members from its origins up to December 1863; the Reports of the Board for 1848 to 1862; statistics of the professed denomination of children attending denominational schools (a return to an Address from the Legislative Council to the Governor General dated 11 December 1857, ordered to be printed 27 August 1858); and, statistics of schools for 1858-59 (returns to an Order made by the Legislative Assembly dated 24 November 1858, ordered to be printed on 29 November 1859).
