Full description

This series consists mainly of quarterly or monthly, and consolidated statements of the receipts and expenditure of the Colony. Also included are reports of Boards appointed to check the contents of the Treasury Chest, and remarks by the Auditor. The 1849 volume (2/840) contains many accounts and papers relating to Immigration following the Regulations of 22 December 1848. The 1851 volume (2/841) includes abstracts of sums received from the "Sydney Railway Company".
