This volume contains the following returns: a general statement listed under departments, and a detailed statement of the receipts and expenditure of the colonial revenues for the year 1825, together with supplementary schedules; a recapitulation of the receipt and expenditure of the colonial fund for the years 1822-25; an abstract of the revenue and resources, and the expenditure of the government for the years 1822-25, together with remarks to explain significant variations over the period; comments of the Auditor-General, dated 30 July 1827, as to the objects of, and the technical difficulties involved in, the compilation, together with explanations and copies of government orders regarding the use and value of one Spanish dollar.
