There are two returns recording statistics under the following headings:

a) Offences. Date and place court convened and adjourned. Charges exhibited by the Judge Advocate: cases; prisoners. Offences include: Capital offences - murder, burglary, highway robbery etc., breaking and entering etc., stealing and killing cattle or sheep, horse stealing, rape, stabbing or wounding etc., forgery, piracy, writing and sending threatening letter, stabbing and killing a colt; Larceny - of goods, of pigs, of wearing apparel, of tools; and Misdemeanours (specified) - number of cases and prisoners where found guilty.
