Full description

This series contains the annual reports of the various Ambulance Districts forwarded to the Ambulance Transport Service Board (1919-1973) / NSW Ambulance Board (1973-1977) / New South Wales Ambulance Service (1977-1990) / New South Wales Ambulance Service (1990-2006) / NSW Ambulance. They contain details of the previous year's activities; election of office bearers; lists of subscribers; and financial statements. The earliest reports for the Eastern Suburbs District Ambulance Service (11/10640-11/10641) cover the reporting years from 1 October 1917 to 30 June 1929.

The volumes of annual reports begin with the report of the Ambulance Transport Service Board followed by the annual reports of each district (metropolitan and country) in one alphabetical sequence per reporting year.

The District annual reports were not tabled in NSW Parliament, although the reports of the Ambulance Transport Board itself and those of its successor agencies would have been tabled.
