These folders hold the original applications by members of their respective Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALC). The application documents the applicant’s personal details including; date of birth, address, contact details, the applicants’ familial relationships, the LALC, the Regional Aboriginal Land Council (RALC) and the Member number assigned.
There is a gap in the records, with one record dated 1982, then records dated between 1992-1998 and then 2007 onward.
The early records, 1982-1998 are arranged by file number and contain only the applications for the Funeral Fund. Then from 2007 onward the records include additional correspondence and supporting documents for the Funeral Fund applications.
