These volumes document the daily state of inmates (prisoners) and staff. The distribution of staff being their duty assigned or their leave type is noted. The inmate numbers received and/or discharged, numbers separately confined, also includes reports on ration inspection, musters attended, official visitors visits to prison after 5:30pm. There is also recorded a section for Directions Special Occurrences. The record is daily signed off by the Superintendent.
