The record documents advice given to staff, inspection of cells & other areas, and documents various Rules requirements such as muster checks, medical attention to prisoners, requests & complaints, directions received from Governor, security of gaol and other special or unusual occurrences. The record is daily signed off by the Assistant Superintendent (or Principal Prison officer where applicable).
