This series comprises of in camera segments of the transcript from the public hearings of the Royal Commission. The in camera sections were held when the witness asked for confidentiality from the public hearing room. These sessions were usually held with the Commissioner, the witness and their counsels and make up 107 pages of the transcript that were marked confidential and that were not published.

The in camera transcripts were transcribed and were also held in the paper collections separately from the main transcript held in NRS 20944. The paper copies of the in camera transcript were dated and printed on green paper.

The in camera segments were not uploaded onto the Chelmsford Hospital Royal Commission Transcript Enquiry System (STATUS) database.

The digital in camera transcripts were extracted from floppy disks held by Commission office of the Royal Commission into the former Chelmsford Private Hospital and Mental Health Services in New South Wales. The digital in camera transcripts are held in the Digital State Archive.
