This volume contains descriptions, diagrams (some in colour) and brief details of inspections and repairs of local bridges, some of which no longer exist. The descriptions include situation, shire, when erected, material, dimensions, roadway, length of decking, remarks, dates and maintenance work undertaken plus expenditure.
The bridges include: Barrington, Camden Haven, Cameron's Falls, Carrington, Coopernook, Dawson, Ellensborough, Five Day Creek, Ghinni-Ghinni, Gladstone, Glenreagh, Kempsey, Killawarra, Kinchela, Sherwood and Telegraph Point. Also included are Lower Creek, Taree Steam Ferry, Blackman Point Ferry, Cundle Dock, and Smithtown Ferry.
