Full description

These are registers of discharges from the Colgate Palmolive Ward at Balmain Hospital. The ward was officially opened in April 1960. (1)

For each patient, the following information is generally recorded: dates admitted and discharged, name, address, medical record number, doctor (HMO/VMO) and diagnosis. For the period June to December 1992, the patient's age is also recorded and, except for a short period between January and February 1993, phone numbers are provided.
