This series contains records relating to Witness Protection appeals made to the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman's Office holds the function of determining appeals from those people refused entry to, or removed from, the Witness Protection Program or appeals against the Police Commissioner's decision not to make an order under the Child Protection (Offenders Registration) Act.

As of 30 June 2017 the function was carried over to the new agency LECC - Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.

The records are arranged by file number order.
