This series contains registers of deceased persons from Nyngan District Hospital. Certificates of Cause of Death have been accepted in lieu of Death Registers, where missing.

The registers contain the following information: Receipt of body: date, time, from, valuables on body, received by; particulars of deceased: surname, full Christian name, age, sex, religion, death certificate sighted by; report to Coroner: whether necessary, by whom done; autopsy authority sighted by, body claimed by, authority for removal sighted by; removal of body: date, time, valuables remaining on body, signature of person receiving body.
