These marks have been placed, but are not limited to, the following; Department of Main Roads; Roads and Traffic Authority; Department of Lands; NSW Government Railway; Australian Aerial Mapping Pty Ltd; Department of National Development Division of National Mapping. The records were created to identify survey marks placed by a variety of public offices when undertaking a land survey.
