This series comprises administrative records from the National Occupational Licensing Authority [NOLA].

The records include board management such as appointment, policy and procedures. There are records relating to correspondence, media releases, business and strategic plans, budgets, legislation and bill creation, regulations, policy, and regulation impact statements. Also included are the Advisory Committee papers for the following occupations: electrical, plumbing and gasfitting, property, refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanics, building and conveyancing. These committees were set up to establish licensing policy for each of the occupations with employers, unions, consumers, training organisations and regulators.

The series also contains records that predate the establishment of NOLA..These preliminary records from various working groups such as the Property Agents' Working Group and the NOLS (National Occupational Licensing System) Steering Committee were included in the records of NOLA when disestablishment occurred on the 30 July 2014.
