This series consists of records that relate to the policies and procedures of the New South Wales Correspondence School between 1950 and 1991.

Included are booklets and circulars that contain general administrative procedures, school calendars, guidelines for enrolments, primary and secondary procedures, handbooks for supervisors, alternative library facilities, general factsheets, and guidelines for leaflet preparation. Also included are the following specific policy documents: Policy document Primary K-6 (1977); HSC assessment policy for Year 11 (1986) and Year 12 (1987); and Social Science draft policy, procedures and organisation (1986). A cassette tape "Moving up into Year 7" is an introductory tape for Secondary School.

Also included in this series are the records 'Distance Education: Policies and Procedures - Establishment Folder, Parts 1 and 2' (c.1988-1991). These procedural folders cover the various aspects of the Correspondence School including: general policies, enrolment, record keeping, the role of the supervisor, the video curriculum support scheme, the travel programme, lesson layout and publications. Three audio cassettes are included in the Establishment Folders.
