This series comprises papers associated with meetings of the Board of directors of the National Electricity Code Administrator (NECA) starting with its inaugural meeting on 5 November 1996. The papers include agendas, minutes, correspondence, reports and returns.

There is some duplication of the papers relating to the inaugural meeting and a number of these items bear annotations suggesting they may be personal copies.

The papers also include NECA's Corporation Register, which contains information, documents and registers required to be maintained by the organisation under the Corporations Law, such as director appointments, directors' disclosures of interest and particulars, the Memorandum and Articles of Association, and the certificate of registration of the company.

There are also two printed copies of a PowerPoint presentation associated with a seminar entitled “An introduction to NECA” which was held on 1 August 2002. Following an introduction and stakeholder overview, seminar sessions dealt with the commercial and economic performance of the spot and contract market; market surveillance, monitoring and enforcement; ancillary services; the Reliability Panel; network issues; and the role of the Board.
