Full description

This series consists of audio visual material produced or collected by the Women’s Coordination Unit and the Women’s Advisory Council. Some of the items were produced by the Australian Film and Television School on their behalf and there is material accumulated by the Monitoring Services Branch, including television and radio programs and lectures.

The material relates to women’s issues such as the female role in society, domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, sexual harassment, drug and tranquiliser abuse, women and family law, social problems, courtroom cases, unplanned pregnancy, insomnia, hypnosis and relaxation, women on the land, housewifery, sport, and employment.

The material includes film and video, and audio tapes.
