This series comprise one volume containing lists of teachers employed by the Department of Education by serial number.
Each teacher is allocated a prefix based on the last two digits of the year, followed by the number '5' for males or '6' for females, and then a running number. (1) For example, the first male teacher registered in 1951 has the serial number 51 5 001.
The register covers the serial numbers 515001-585604 for male teachers, and 516001-586793 for female teachers.
