This series contains personnel history summary cards sourced from Shortland Electricity and Orion Energy and their predecessor agencies Shortland County Council and Newcastle City Council.

The cards contain the following information: Surname, first name, address, birth date, place, birth certificate no., previously employed, position, marital status, dependents (children or other), annual leave due. Table containing: date, position, grade, salary, remarks. On reverse side: periods of absence. Some staff records are Leave records which contains name, employee number, address and pro-rata holiday pay.
