This series consists of index cards which sequentially number the glass and acetate images which recorded the infrastructure and operations of electricity suppliers in the Newcastle area.

The index cards are in sequential order and provide a numeric register for each image detailing the subject matter. The majority of cards are typed with a small section towards the end of the series being handwritten.

This series is an index to NRS 20820, Images - negatives [Newcastle Electricity Supply Council Administration]. Both the glass plate and acetate negative images use the following numbering system: negative number – box number – photograph number. For example, 12 – 2 – 24, is negative number 12, box number 2, photograph number 24.
