The Instructions to Surgeons-Superintendent of South Australian Government Emigrant Ships is a printed booklet which was published in London in 1873. This booklet gives detailed descriptions on the various duties and procedures to be carried out by the Surgeon Superintendent on board migrant ships to South Australia.
The name 'Frank J. Josephson of Immigration Office' is written on the inside of the cover. Francis Jacob Josephson was the Officer in Charge of Immigration for New South Wales from 1891 to 1895. (1)
